Gift Chowchuvech is an accomplished artist and designer with over 5 years of design experience in the fashion industry. She holds a BFA from the School of Visual Arts where she studied with illustrator Joo Chung and artist EunJu Kang. Following her graduation, Gift spent 18 months teaching papermaking in Thailand.
Since returning to New York, Gift has collaborated with photographer Lisa Shin and actress Margaux Laskey; she has created fashion illustrations for Fashion Overseas Bureau. She is the illustrator for Pea Cards and is the founder of Gift by Gift. Gift is a skilled hand knitter and her creations are often made from recycled sweaters. Her freelance clients include Banana Republic, CityDKNY, Old Navy, Fashion Overseas Bureau and Tank Industries. Gift's design work has also been featured in In Style Magazine, "O" The Oprah Magazine, People, US Magazine and New York Magazine.
She is currently available for freelance projects and commissions. |
